Reader Reviews:
Thoroughly enjoyed your book. I have been reading many books on investing in the last while and by far yours has provided the most insight. The stock valuation and business valuation techniques described are simple and easy to understand. This is exactly the kind of information I was looking for.
I downloaded your book from ibooks and could not stop reading it until the end.
I have been trying to be a successful investor the the last 5 years, reading many books, articles and any piece of useful information. By far your book is the most comprehensive and friendliest I ever read.
During the last five years, most of my learnings came from my mistakes and successes in my portfolio. It was amazing for me that your book covers all of them and even more.
Great book! Quick and easy to read covering lots of useful points and includes up to date relevant case studies and examples. Well worth it
I’ve read ‘Lessons’ from Smashwords. I enjoyed it and appreciate the work you have put into publishing it. Section 34, chapter 5 is a great summary technique.
This book is an absolute must for all new and inexperienced investors. Mr. Speziale clearly indicates his investing philosophy and the reasons why it is successful. While he does not explicity list his portfolio, he illustrates many examples of stocks that fit his investing philosophy and it is easy enough for the reader to follow the stock to see if the choices have been successful. This book has given me the confidence to be able to manage my own portfolio.
Clearly and concisely outlines straightforward techniques for analysis of potential stock purchases. Easy to read and effective, however, in some places, a good proofreader could have helped smooth out the language. I didn’t find this to upset my understanding.
Very good book and easy to read.
